Eight areas of health and health care services were investigated; immunization, dental care, use of medications, pre-school children's health, general health status, use of and attitudes towards cigarettes and alcohol, family planning services and general well-being of and services to the elderly such as home nursing, meals etc. Medications investigated included pain killers, sleeping tablets, nerve tablets, laxatives and other medications as specified by the respondent; fluoride and the pill were excluded.
