Abstract

Welcome to the first edition of Margin, the official publication of ANU College of Business and Economics. The ANU College of Business and Economics is at the core of the teaching and research of business and economics at the ANU, and has built its professional capital on the strengths of Australia’s best university. The College aspires to be a community of scholars, faculty and staff which contributes fully to the University’s mission of advancing knowledge, while fostering the pursuit of intellectual and personal fulfilment. Through this publication we hope to provide a window into the exciting activities and accomplishments of the College, from staff and students to alumni and donors, and to share our experiences and achievements. Each quarter you will hear from academic and professional leaders from within the College and the ANU Community, learn about upcoming events and activities that may be of interest to you, and witness the many ways in which the ANU College of Business and Economics seeks to cement a place at the forefront of business and economics research.
